Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Trendy Nexus, your satisfaction is our highest priority. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, and we want the returns and refunds process to be as smooth and transparent as possible. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 7 calendar days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags intact.
  • The product is returned in its original packaging, including all accessories, inserts, and labels.
  • You have a valid proof of purchase (order confirmation email or invoice).
  • The return request is raised within 7 days of delivery confirmation.

The following items are NOT eligible for returns:

  • Opened or used beauty products, cosmetics, skincare, or personal hygiene items.
  • Earrings, hair accessories, and intimate items due to hygiene reasons.
  • Items purchased during clearance, flash sales, or marked as "Final Sale".
  • Products that show signs of use, damage, or alteration after delivery.
  • Digital products or gift vouchers.
  • Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or incorrect care by the customer.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return with Trendy Nexus, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Contact our support team within 7 days of delivery via email at support@trendynexus.shop or WhatsApp at +91 99999 99999.
  • Step 2: Provide your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  • Step 3: Attach clear photographs of the product and packaging (mandatory for damaged or defective items).
  • Step 4: Our team will review your request and respond within 48 business hours with a decision and return instructions.
  • Step 5: Once approved, pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided by our team.

Please note: Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item sent by Trendy Nexus.

3. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify Trendy Nexus within 48 hours of delivery. Provide photographic evidence of the damage or defect. We will bear the return shipping cost and offer a full refund or free replacement — whichever you prefer.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Orders Not Yet Dispatched

You may cancel your order at no charge if it has not yet been dispatched. To cancel, contact us immediately at support@trendynexus.shop or via WhatsApp with your order number. Cancellations for undispatched orders will receive a full refund processed within 5–7 business days.

4.2 Orders Already Dispatched

Once your order has been dispatched by Trendy Nexus, it cannot be cancelled directly. However, you may refuse the delivery upon arrival. Once the item is returned to our warehouse, a refund (minus shipping charges) will be processed within 7–10 business days.

4.3 Cancellations by Trendy Nexus

Trendy Nexus reserves the right to cancel any order in cases of:

  • Stock unavailability or product discontinuation.
  • Suspected fraudulent transactions or payment failures.
  • Incorrect pricing or product information on the website.
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, etc.).

In such cases, you will be notified promptly and a full refund will be issued.

5. Refund Timelines

Once your return is received and inspected by our team, we will notify you of the refund approval status. Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit/Debit Card & Net Banking: 5–7 business days (depending on your bank).
  • UPI & Wallets (Paytm, PhonePe, etc.): 3–5 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Refunded via bank transfer to the account provided within 7–10 business days.
  • Store Credit / Coupon: Applied immediately upon approval (if selected).

Please note that while Trendy Nexus processes refunds promptly, the actual credit timeline depends on your bank or payment provider and is beyond our control.

6. Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for size or colour variants (subject to availability) within 7 days of delivery. Exchanges follow the same eligibility criteria as returns. Contact our support team with your order details and desired exchange item. In case the desired item is unavailable, a refund will be offered.

7. Non-Refundable Fees

The following are non-refundable in all circumstances:

  • Original shipping fees charged at the time of order (unless the return is due to Trendy Nexus's error).
  • Gift wrapping or personalisation service charges.
  • Payment gateway convenience fees (if applicable).

8. Disputed Transactions

If you believe an incorrect charge has been made to your account, please contact Trendy Nexus immediately before raising a dispute with your bank. We are committed to resolving all billing issues fairly and promptly.
